On May 26, we organized a scientific seminar on “Tube MPC Extension of MPT“. The scientific seminar was led by Juraj Oravec, an associate professor at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, and Juraj Holaza, a lecturer at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The scientific seminar was organized in the framework of the FrontSeat project as part of the seminar series on “Research Seminar on Smart Cybernetics”.
Abstract:
The success of the real-world implementation of advanced control policies relies on the robustness of the designed control laws. This talk discusses a new software package for the robust model predictive control (MPC) synthesis in the framework of the Multi-Parametric toolbox (MPT) that represents one of the most successful open-source tools in this field. The goal is to demonstrate that the wide research community may benefit from the ease of the advanced controller design in a few lines of code and its implementation to control the laboratory plant.
