From January 29 to February 2, 2024, an Open Door Week – known as ChemWeek 2024, took place at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology (FCHPT STU). As part of this event, high school students had the opportunity to see several laboratories at the faculty.

In the Department of Information Engineering and Process Control, students visited the laboratory of chemical-technological processes and the mechatronics laboratory. Our colleagues presented the students with several laboratory devices on which our students could expand their practical skills in the field of process control, and at the same time, the students could try out the difficulty of manual control of the laboratory device.

Laboratory of chemical and food technologies – a distillation column.
Laboratory of mechatronics– a linear inverted pendulum.
Laboratory of chemical and food technologies – a heat exchanger.
