On October 24, as part of the FrontSeat project Consortium Meeting organized at Ruhr University Bochum, we hosted a scientific session delivered by recognized professors in the field of Model Predictive Control Design.
Professor Rolf Findeisen from the Technical University Darmstadt opened the session with his interesting presentation on “Learning and Model Predictive Control Ensuring Safety and Optimality”.
He was followed by Professor Moritz Schulze Darup from the Technical University Dortmund, who presented his interesting research on “Towards Explainable Data-Driven Predictive Control with Regularizations”.
The seminar was enriched by the fruitful discussions of the participants, who were further developing the presented scientific ideas. The scientific session was provided both: in person and online via Zoom. The seminar was organized in the framework of the project FrontSeat Consortium Meeting, read more here (TBA).
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon under grant no. 101079342 (Fostering Opportunities Towards Slovak Excellence in Advanced Control for Smart Industries).
