On February 17, we organized a virtual scientific session of the plenary meeting of the project FrontSeat. During this meeting, two presentations of researchers from Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum (RUB) and Universita Di Pisa (UNIPI) were presented. The first presenter was Sebastian Leonow, a senior engineer at RUB, who presented his research on “Collaborative control under strict security requirements on lean embedded hardware“. Followingly, Riccardo Bacci di Capaci and Marco Vaccari, both researchers at UNIPI presented their work on “Acid Gas Treatment in Waste-to-energy Plants: a case study of system identification and advanced control“. The scientific session was organised in the framework of the FrontSeat project, as part of the seminar series on “Research Seminar on Smart Cybernetics”.
