On March 17, we organized a scientific seminar on “Multi-fidelity Modeling with Gaussian Process Model“. The scientific seminar was led by Martin Mojto, a PhD student at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The scientific seminar was organized in the framework of the FrontSeat project, as part of the seminar series on “Research Seminar on Smart Cybernetics”

Abstract:

Nowadays, we are witnessing an increase in the popularity of data-driven approaches with the rising computational power. One of these approaches is multi-fidelity modeling, which focuses on the effective fusion of information from the datasets with different fidelity. This scientific seminar is focused on multi-fidelity modeling considering Gaussian process models. We show the implementation of multi-fidelity modeling in Python using the GPy package. The datasets from the simple applications are used to provide a transparent and accessible overview of multi-fidelity modeling.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon under grant no. 101079342 (Fostering Opportunities Towards Slovak Excellence in Advanced Control for Smart Industries).
