We organized another successful Consortium Meeting of the Project FrontSeat on March 7, 2024. The Plenary meeting was organized in a virtual format.

After the previous successful Consortium Meeting of the project FrontSeat at UNIPI in Pisa, Italy (read more), the recent Consortium Meeting was adapting to the evolving landscape of global connectivity and was organized in a virtual format to allow the members from STUBA, RUB, and UNIPI to discuss the progress and future trajectories of the initiative.

In the morning session, the members of the FrontSeat project Consortium engaged in comprehensive discussions covering a spectrum of topics – from evaluating the current status of the project to inspecting the advancements within each Work Package. The exchange of insights and updates during this session improved the decision-making and strategic planning.

One of the highlights of the plenary meeting was the virtual invited session on the “Open Science under Horizon Europe Project FrontSeat” presented by Silvia Sofianos (CVTI – The Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information, Bratislava, Slovakia). The presentation provided valuable perspectives on how the initiative aligns with the principles and objectives set forth under the Horizon Europe framework. The session not only enriched the participants’ understanding of Open Science but also fostered a deeper appreciation for the broader implications of Project FrontSeat within the European research landscape.

Members actively participated in shaping the strategic direction of Project FrontSeat, ensuring that collective decisions were aligned with the overarching objectives and milestones.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon under grant no. 101079342 (Fostering Opportunities Towards Slovak Excellence in Advanced Control for Smart Industries).
