Read a blog written by Marek Čorňák, a PhD student of Robotics and Cybernetics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of STU in Bratislava about his research visit to Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.

Last month, I had a great opportunity to attend an Internship through the international project FrontSeat at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany. It was an amazing and enriching experience, where I had the pleasure to meet very bright, talented, and hard-working researchers, who were really passionate about their work. It was truly a joyful stay and I was looking forward to every day I could spend working with them.

I am very grateful to the whole team of Prof. Martin Mönnigmann, the chair of the Automatic Control and Systems Theory at Ruhr University Bochum, for such an accepting and pleasant environment, not only in the workplace but also during my free time. I hope we will continue our established research collaboration and I will always be looking forward to working with you all!

Last but not least, I would also like to thank the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of STU in Bratislava for making my internship possible.
