Read a blog written by Diana Dzurková, a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology of STU in Bratislava, about her research stay at Ruhr University Bochum, Germany.
I’m currently visiting the RUB – Control Engineering and Systems Theory department in Bochum to continue the tradition of collaborations between our two universities. My stay started on January 22nd and is going to last until March 3rd. So far, I’ve presented the current state of my research and discussed the direction of our current cooperation regarding the field of homomorphic encryption applications on microcontrollers. Right now, my colleagues and I are actively working on the development of user-friendly libraries that would provide HE encryption tools for implementation on ESP32 boards.
I’m very thankful for this opportunity, and I deeply appreciate my colleagues at RUB for their inspiring work and their warm approach.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon under grant no. 101079342 (Fostering Opportunities Towards Slovak Excellence in Advanced Control for Smart Industries).
